Dance theatre with 130 Chinese and German youth
The Firebird, co-choreographed with Royston Maldoom, premiered in 2007 at the Stadttheater Saarbrücken. Since then we have been successfully staged the project in Bucharest (2009), in Dresden (2010), in Moscow 2014 and most recently in Shanghai.

Inspired by the film "Rhythm is it", Christa Kröger-Wang and her team succeeded in having the Firebird invited to Shanghai. This is how "Harmonie Shanghai" came into being; an intercultural dance project with the aim of introducing "community dance" to China. The firm conviction was that this project and format has huge potential there.
