George Enescu" International Theatre Festival
"From life on the street to the National Theatre Bucharest" was the headline of the Banater Newspaper. After 5 weeks of rehearsals street children and orphans, high school students, deaf people, a blind girl, and people with Downs Syndrome aged 11 – 18 were able to perform the piece.
The choreography had already been created in 2006 as a joint work with Royston Maldoom at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken. The performance took place as part of the international theatre festival "George Enescu" at the National Theatre Bucharest and was supported by the association "Young Romanians have a chance", an initiative by Monique Gruber, the wife of the former German ambassador in Bucharest.
